The mission of the Emerald High School Parent Faculty Student Organization (EHS PFSO) is to enhance the academic, social, and emotional development of every student at Emerald High School. We do this by collaborating with parents, students, and faculty, working together to provide resources, programs and opportunities that enrich their high school experience.

Some of the ways the PFSO can offer support are:
Fundraising events – to support the school’s needs and goals, such as auctions, dine-outs, raffles
Hospitality and teacher appreciation activities to show gratitude and recognition to the staff, such as lunches, breakfasts, gifts
Parent education and information nights to inform and engage the parents on various topics related to the school
Student enrichment and recognition programs to enhance the students’ learning and achievement such as student-club support, awards, field trips, guest speakers
Community outreach and service projects to foster a sense of social responsibility and civic engagement among the students, staff and parents, such as volunteering, donating, partnering with local organizations
